Pan Asian Mortgage Company Limited (Pan Asian) today (19 February
2003) reassured the market that it will continue to provide
negative equity homeowners a refinancing alternative utilising
new and innovative financial solutions.
"Ever since the inception of Pan Asian in 2000, we have
seen growing market demands for innovative financial solutions"
said Leland Sun, CEO of Pan Asian. "So far, market responses
to our 140% SuperFirst Mortgage Refinancing Program ("the
Program") has been encouraging and has demonstrated our
commitment to providing a cost saving and practical solution
to negative equity homeowners."
As at December 2002, the Program jointly provided by Citic Ka
Wah Bank and Asia Commercial Bank in conjunction with Pan Asian
had approved over 1,000 applications worth HK$1.3 billion.
In view of the overwhelming support, Pan Asian launched the
SuperFirst Mortgage Refinancing Program - Trade Option in December
2002 which enables negative equity borrowers to trade up or
down on their property depending on the individual's personal
financial needs. The Company has plans to further enhance the
140% SuperFirst Mortgage Refinancing Program which will be announced
shortly.
